Our halls are used for all kinds of things from martial arts training to dog obedience classes. Here are just a few of the things on offer at Christ Church and St Mark's.

Toddler Clubs

These are probably as valuable as social occasions for parents and carers as they are for the toddlers themselves.

Mother and Toddler Group

They happen during term time at both churches on different days of the week and at various times of day. More details on the 'Children's Activities' page and from the Parish Office.

Parish Events

We enjoy occasional Sunday lunches, parties, concerts and recitals, barn dances, and quiz nights, all of which are open to people of all ages.

Travel Club

This is a group meeting in Christ Church Hall on Tuesday evenings in the autumn and winter months. People are encouraged to share experiences of holidays and travel around this country and across the world.

 

Dancing

Folk Dancing and Sequence Dancing cater for the more energetic.

The folk dancers meet in Christ Church Hall on Monday evenings and the sequence dancers in St Mark's on Friday evenings.

 

North Watford Air Rifle and Pistol Club

The Club meets on Wednesday evenings in Christ Church Hall. Young people and adults are given the opportunity to learn to shoot in a disciplined and responsible way. There are league competitions to take part in.

 

Table Tennis

Table Tennis Club

There is a very enthusiastic table tennis club meeting on Monday evenings in St Mark's Church. Anyone enjoying this ever popular pastime is welcome.
